Smoking terrace: reference photos and airport overview
Photographs of a smoking-terrace environment supplied for this guide; their exact terminal location is not independently verified. The overview is a general airport map, not directions to a particular smoking-area door.

Where is the smoking terrace in Terminal 2?
The airport's official smoking-area information places an outdoor terrace AFTER the security checkpoint, connected to the departure-gate area. It overlooks the apron and runway and is close to shops and food outlets.
After completing the checks required for your flight, look for Smoking Area or Smoking Terrace signs near the gates. If the signs are unclear, ask airport information staff for the currently accessible terrace. Check your boarding gate and boarding time before walking away.
A general aerial airport map does not show a verified indoor route to the terrace. We therefore do not quote an unconfirmed gate or door number.
Photos: what the smoking terraces look like
This guide includes two supplied reference photographs of an airport smoking-terrace space: a view towards the apron and a view from inside. They help explain what a terrace looks like, but the exact terminal and door shown have not been independently confirmed. Follow the current airport signs rather than using the photo as a gate map.
See the reference photos and general airport overview immediately below. Images supplied for AntalyaTransfers.org; the precise terrace door and terminal shown have not been independently verified.
Can you smoke before security or in the arrivals hall?
The official airport information specifically describes smoking terraces after security; it does not confirm an indoor smoking lounge before security. Smoking in the terminal building is prohibited. Outside the secure area, only use an outdoor place where smoking is explicitly permitted by signs and staff.
For travellers arriving in Antalya, the post-security departure terraces are NOT the meeting point for airport pickup. For pickup, use the instructions in your confirmation and our Antalya Airport meeting-point guide.
What about Terminal 1 and domestic departures?
According to the airport's published services, outdoor airside smoking terraces exist for Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and domestic departures. The terminal your flight uses and which entrances are operating can change. Check your airline's departure details on the day, and ask airport staff if an area is closed.
Read the Antalya Airport terminals guide to distinguish international and domestic departures.
Arriving at Antalya? Book your private transfer
Smoking terraces are in the departures area, but your private transfer pickup is outside arrivals. If you are heading to Lara, Belek, Side, Kemer or Alanya, compare Antalya Airport private transfer prices or check availability and book. The online booking price is the amount to rely on; return-booking discounts are shown before you confirm.
Please enter the correct airport (AYT), your full hotel name and flight number so your pickup instructions can be prepared correctly.
